🧠 Who was Aesop?
Aesop was a storyteller from ancient Greece, believed to have lived around 600 BC.
He is famous for his short stories that called fables. Through talking animals and simple stories, they teach powerful life lessons, about honesty, patience, kindness, and courage.
Even though we don’t know much about his life, his stories have traveled across centuries and cultures, reminding us that even the smallest voice or the slowest step can carry great truth.
Stories that are timeless and they are filled with wisdom and imagination.
The tortoise and the hare
🐰Once upon a time, there was a hare who was very proud because he was the fastest hare around.
🐢 One day, he met a tortoise.
The hare made fun of her because she walked so slowly. But the tortoise challenged him to a race to see who was truly faster.
The hare ran to tell all the animals in the forest about the race, and everyone was invited to watch.
The next day, all the animals gathered at the finish line, eager to see who would win. Everyone believed the hare would win — it seemed obvious.
The race began. The hare quickly ran ahead, but after a while, he got tired, lay down under a tree, and fell asleep.
While he was sleeping, the tortoise slowly but steadily kept going, passed him, and reached the finish line first.
😮All the animals were speechless — and so was the hare.
That day, everyone learned that if you try hard and keep going, you can succeed.
Life lesson:📗"True strength isn’t shown by speed or pride, but by patience, effort, and the courage to keep going—no matter how slow the path may seem."
