Thermisia is a small village on Greece's Argolic Gulf. Just 10 km from Ermioni lies the charming coastal village of Thermisia, named after the ancient temple of Thermasia Demeter, which once stood by the sea at the site of today’s lagoon. The festival takes place on the last Sunday of January, starting at 11:00 AM. Admission is free, making it the perfect winter getaway for locals and visitors alike.

During the festival, the women of Thermisia prepare and share hundreds of homemade pancakes (Tiganites in greek language), honoring the end of the olive harvest season. This local event brings together residents and travelers in the village’s central square, offering a unique glimpse into Greek culture and community life.
